Short-term visa

1) Business visa

⑴ Complete the visa application form and sign it.

⑵ A recent passport photo.

⑶ Valid passport (the passport validity period should be at least 3 months beyond the expiration date of the visa applied for) and a copy of the passport (including information page and previous visa page).

⑷ Invitation letter: The visa applicant must receive an invitation letter approved by the Office of Nationality and Immigration Affairs of the Ministry of Interior no later than 6 months before the application date (the above invitation letter number must be valid).

⑸ Original letter of introduction from the Chinese company, including address, phone/fax number, position and salary of the visa applicant, time working in the company, purpose of business activities to be carried out, etc., with signature and Stamped with company seal. ⑹ Original and photocopy of the Chinese company’s business license (duplicate), translated into English or the language of the country where the application is being processed.

2) Personal/Visiting Relatives Visa

⑴ Complete the visa application form and sign it.

⑵ A recent passport photo.

⑶ Valid passport (the passport validity period should be at least 3 months beyond the expiration date of the visa applied for) and a copy of the passport (including the identity page and previous visa pages).

⑷ Invitation letter, proving that the visa applicant has received an invitation letter approved by the Nationality and Immigration Affairs Office of the Ministry of Interior of Latvia no later than 6 months before the application date (the above invitation letter number must be valid) .

⑸ Fund certification documents: bank list or original bank transfer documents for the past 6 months.

⑹ Marriage certificate or notarized document proving the relationship (needs to be translated into English), original and copy provided.

⑺ A letter of certification from the employer written in the language of the country where the application is being made or in English, stating the applicant’s name, position, agreed period of travel and indicating his salary. The letter of certification must indicate the address, telephone number, and fax number, and be stamped with the official seal of the company or school.

Long-term visa

1) Residence visa: Before submitting a visa application, the inviter should submit an invitation letter for approval to the Foreign Service Center or Territorial Office of the Office of Nationality and Immigration.
