YOLO Music Festival was founded by Chinese Canadian DJ/ music producer Yang Yang.

On 20 17, YOLO Music Festival was held in China for the first time, and it was positioned as a "global cultural carnival", aiming to integrate music, art and culture from all over the world and create a borderless music feast. Yang Yang was born in Guangdong Province, China, and later immigrated to Canada.

He studied music production and DJ skills in Canada and was active in the North American music circle. He used to be the DJ of The Marquee, one of the most popular nightclubs in Toronto, and a frequent visitor to several international music festivals. On 20 15, Yang Yang began to prepare for its own music festival. He hopes to create a cultural activity to let young people express themselves freely and enjoy music.
