Good influence of soil protection

Soil refers to a loose layer of material on the earth's surface, which is composed of various granular minerals, organic matter, moisture, air and microorganisms, and can grow plants. Soil consists of minerals, animals and plants, organic matter, soil organisms (solid matter), water (liquid matter), air (gas matter), oxidized humus, etc. Everything starts with soil, but few people know that soil is a non-renewable resource, which means that all the soil we see in our lifetime is soil. We should fully protect our soil for the following reasons.

1, the nutrient content in the soil directly affects the growing plants. Soil and plant roots exchange nutrients and water. The healthier the soil, the better the crops will grow.

4. Healthy soil can ensure food security, improve livelihoods and reduce forced migration.

5. Soil is the key to clean water. Forests can not only prevent soil erosion, but also ensure that downstream users can get high-quality drinking water.

6. Most famous antibiotics, including penicillin, come from soil microorganisms, and more than 500 kinds of antibiotics come from microorganisms.

From the above-mentioned functions of soil, we find that soil affects all directions of human existence, so for human beings, in order to survive and develop, we should cherish and rationally use every inch of land, protect soil and reduce soil erosion, which is the direction of the younger generation's efforts and the object of national key governance projects.
