Apply for a Hong Kong student visa

All non-local students in Hong Kong need to apply for a student visa.

For Chinese mainland citizens and Taiwan Province residents, the application procedures are different.

The Hong Kong Immigration Bureau only issues student visas to applicants who attend full-time university studies (no student visas for part-time jobs and part-time studies).

All applicants for student visas must have a guarantor in Hong Kong.

Steps required:
