The girl's name is Cao Jinxia, and she was working in Datong Geological Team in Shanxi. Through correspondence, they confirmed that the other person was the one they were looking for and entered the marriage hall a year later.

Cao Jinxia has the characteristics of traditional women, virtuous and gentle, diligent in housekeeping, but also has patience and tenacity as a geologist. After marriage, the two are still in a long-distance relationship, because the workplace is too far away, and they always get together less and leave more. This situation lasted for seven years, until 1972 Cao Jinxia applied for a transfer to Xinjiang, and the two talents reunited.

From then on, we cared for each other and took root in Xinjiang all our lives.

Although the Li family speaks fluent Mandarin, his blond face still brings him a lot of trouble. People who don't know him will regard him as a foreigner when they see him. Some people speculate that he is German or American. In fact, Li Yizu has never met his biological parents, and he doesn't know which nationality his biological parents are.

At this time, the Li family always took pains to explain to them again and again: "I am not a foreigner, I am from China."

The Li family is a person who experienced the Cultural Revolution in the 1960s and 1970s. Li Yizu suffered from severe arthritis because he worked in the ice, snow and desert all the year round, and he can no longer do such work.

Therefore, he changed his teaching methods and passed on what he had learned and seen to the children. To this end, he also specially took education courses and learned to use computers. At the age of 70, he traveled all over 56 counties and cities in Xinjiang, took Wan Li Road, talked about thousands of books, and wrote more than 800,000 words of speeches. In the absence of live webcasts and online lectures, the number of people who only listened to his lectures exceeded 360,000.

He said: "Some people call me a China native with a foreign face. Because I was brought up by a Chinese mother, I have a China heart."

Although the Li family has a foreigner's face, he has a real China heart. Abandoned baby in those days, an outstanding scientist today, he really practiced "returning to the motherland" with his own actions.
