According to the genealogy of Panshi in Xianju, the villagers named Qianpan originated from Guo 'ao School in Panshi, Xianju, and their ancestors moved here from Guo 'ao for 600 years. They were originally called Houpan, but later they moved to their present address because of the flood in Yong 'anxi. Qianpan Village is located in the northeast of Xiage Town and downstream of Yong 'anxi. The whole village covers an area of 1, 925.2 mu of cultivated land and 530 mu of forest land, with 2370 people and 737 households, with 39 people in party member.
Qianpan Village is adjacent to Dongsheng Village, Xiage Village, Gao Xia Village, Tangtou Village, Houtiankeng Village, Dushan Village, Yangpengtou Village, Shuanglou Village, Li Jiao Village, Xinjian Village, Lubei Village, Li Ji Road Village, XiaZhang Cun Village and Hutan Village.
There are some tourist attractions near Qianpan Village, such as Shenxianju, Xianju Scenic Area, Qiantan Ancient Town, Xianju Kucang Cave and guan shan cun. There are also specialties such as Xianju Chicken, Xianju Honey Pear, Xianju Yangmei, Xilu Yangmei and shredded eggplant with hot sauce.
