Han nationality immigrated to Vietnam.

The 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam are all ethnic groups left over from the previous feudal dynasty. In the past, Vietnam was under the jurisdiction of other countries, so ethnic groups lived together. Jing nationality is the main ethnic group in Vietnam, and others are ethnic minorities. Jing nationality accounts for more than 85% of the total population of Vietnam, and the rest 15% of the population comes from other 53 ethnic minorities.

The Han nationality is also divided into several ethnic groups in Vietnam. Vietnam divides the Han nationality into Ngái, Chinese and mountain friends. Among the three ethnic minorities, the Chinese population is slightly larger, about 800,000, accounting for about 0.9% of the total population of Vietnam. Shanyou is much smaller with a population of only120,000. As for ngai people, there are only about 5,000 people. However, Ngái people originally belonged to the Chinese, and later they were divided into a nation, so the population is so small.

Among the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, most of them are mainly Vietnamese, and some ethnic minorities are local dialects. Take the Ai and Shanyou ethnic groups as an example. Their main language is Vietnamese, but these two ethnic minorities can also speak Vietnamese and Cantonese, and they often live on the border of Vietnam for a generation, so it is normal to know several languages. As for other ethnic minorities, the population is not as large as that of the Jing and Han nationalities. After all, most of them are poor ethnic groups.

At present, in Vietnam, besides the status of Jing nationality, the status of Chinese and mountain friends in Vietnam has also improved, which should be related to the rapid development of Chinese. Although their status is not as good as that of the Jing nationality, it is much better than that of other ethnic minorities. Moreover, in Vietnam, their ethnic officials also have certain rights and fame.
