Brief introduction of Xuanhe Town

Xuanhe Town is a big agricultural town in zhongwei, Ningxia, and is known as the first chicken raising town in northwest Ningxia. Covering an area of 594.5 square kilometers, it has 19 administrative villages, including 12 administrative villages in Laohuang Irrigation Area with smooth irrigation and drainage, and 7 immigrant villages in Diaozhuang Irrigation Area in Huangguan Irrigation Area developed and constructed since 1980s. The total population of the town is 45,288, including 427 19 agricultural population and 2,523 Hui people. The cultivated land area is 45,525 mu.
