This process is divided into two steps:

The second step is to make a decision. The results of the review are as follows:

(2) Failing the exam: the applicant can appeal, and there are two results after the appeal:

The appeal was successful: the Immigration Department approved the applicant's application for renewal of the Maple Leaf Card, and the Immigration Department will issue a notice of receiving the Maple Leaf Card within four weeks. With this notice and the original of relevant identity documents, go to the designated immigration office in Canada to get a new maple leaf card;

B Failure in appeal: The Immigration Bureau rejected the customer's maple leaf card renewal application.

Step 5: Wait for the maple leaf card collection notice from the Immigration Bureau.

If you need to wait 4-6 weeks for normal processing, you can receive a notice (it can be expedited in special circumstances, and the customer's waiting time is about 1 week).

Step 6: Get the Maple Leaf Card.

Generally, the processing time of maple leaf card is 8~ 12 weeks, and the applicant must take the notice to pick it up in person at the designated place, and no one else can pick it up. After the card is made, the Immigration Department will keep it for 180 days. If the applicant fails to collect it within the time limit, the card will be destroyed.
