People are not as good as the sky? Why is it that the Soviet Union allocated a large territory to Kazakhstan as self-restraint?

I tried to take advantage of it, but it backfired.

At present, the five Central Asian countries cover an area of more than 4 million square kilometers, of which Kazakhstan is the largest, reaching more than 2.7 million square kilometers, twice the total area of the other four Central Asian countries. It is the largest landlocked country in the world. However, the original Kazakhstan was not as big as it is now. Today, the northern part of Kazakhstan, that is, several States near the capital Nursultan, are not under the jurisdiction of Kazakhstan.

It turns out that there are three khanates in Kazakhstan: the eldest child, the middle child and the youngest child. Later, due to the rise of Junggar Khanate, which was established by Weilat Mongolia, Xiaoyuzi and Central Yu Zi once joined Russia, which was eager to expand eastward at that time. In modern times, with the decline of the Qing Dynasty and Russia's continuous eastward advancement, most of Kazakhstan was now owned by Russia at that time after 1864. In 1936, Kazakhstan was reborn as a member of the Soviet Union, but Kazakhstan at that time was not big compared with today.

Although it has become a member of the Soviet Union, after all, it is not Russians who live in Kazakhstan, and they still cannot completely obey Russia on many issues. In the past, Russians usually used force to conquer the land. But for Kazakhstan, which became a "family member" at that time, it was obviously inappropriate to use force. Therefore, Russia directly allocated all the land of several states near Kazakhstan to each other, that is, the vast grassland area around Nursultan today.

Judging from the course of Russia's continuous eastward advancement for hundreds of years, they are like gluttons, and they have never been able to enter or leave on the land issue. However, it is naturally not a good thing for the Soviet Union to give land to Kazakhstan on its own initiative. After all, there is nothing to pay attention to.

There are a large number of Russians living on the land zoned into Kazakhstan. This zoning has directly led to great changes in Kazakhstan's population structure, and the number of Russians has suddenly increased. The purpose of the Soviet Union is very simple, that is, to change the ethnic structure of Kazakhstan in this way, so that it can be russized and finally truly belong to itself.

If the time is long enough, then the purpose of the Soviet Union may be successfully achieved. However, it is really not as good as the sky, because the Soviet Union itself did not expect that it would suddenly collapse and disappear on the earth in a few decades, and suddenly become 15 countries. However, after all, decades have passed. When Kazakhstan became independent, the proportion of Russians in Kazakhstan reached 55%, while that of Kazakhs was less than 40%, and there were more Russians than Kazakhs in Kazakhstan.

Obviously, this structure is indeed a good thing for Russia, but it is not a good thing for Kazakhstan. After all, there are too many examples of this anti-customer orientation. At that time, the United States immigrated to Texas and other places in large numbers, and then annexed a large area of land in Mexico. Russia's goal is likely to be the whole of Kazakhstan. At the beginning of the drastic changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, Kazakhstan was very keenly aware of this problem and began to plan countermeasures quickly.

First of all, Kazakhstan began to change the ethnic structure, and Kazakhstan's main way is to attract immigrants and encourage fertility.

On the one hand, Kazakhstan issued summoning orders to Kazakhs all over the world to attract and encourage Kazakhs living outside Kazakhstan to move to Kazakhstan. At that time, many Kazakhs from northwest China moved to Kazakhstan.

On the other hand, Kazakhstan strongly encourages Kazakhs to have children. For Kazakh mothers with many children, it gives various awards and provides a lot of welfare subsidies.

Through these two simple but very effective ways, Kazakhstan reversed the situation with 1999. The proportion of Kazakhs soared to more than 55%, while the proportion of Russians dropped to 30%. By the time Kazakhstan was founded 20 years ago, the number of Russians was less than a quarter, and the number of Kazakhs had occupied an absolute dominant position. The former Soviet Union annexed Kazakhstan by changing the national structure. As a result, Kazakhstan successfully stopped it in the same way.

Not only does it change the population structure, but Kazakhstan also has two very important measures, namely, going to Russia and moving the capital. The first is the Russian culture. Russian was widely used in Kazakhstan in the Soviet era. In order to consolidate the special status of Kazakhs, Kazakhstan has been weakening Russian education nationwide, promoting Kazakh language education, leaning towards Kazakhs in all aspects and strengthening their dominant position in various places.

It turns out that the land allocated to Kazakhstan by the Soviet Union is distributed in the north, far from Almaty, the old capital of Kazakhstan, and most of them are Russians. After careful consideration, Kazakhstan directly moved its capital to Astana in the north, which is now Nur Sultan. After Kazakhstan moved its capital, the number of Kazakhs around it kept rising, and Kazakhstan's ability to grasp the northern states rose rapidly. In those days, the Soviet Union tried to bait big fish, but even the hooks were towed away by Kazakhstan.
