The householder (or client) submits an application for replacement to the accreditation center of the local public security bureau with the required supporting materials.

After approval, the district public security bureau accreditation center informs the applicant (head of household) to apply to the district public security bureau accreditation center.

You can only apply for your ID card and temporary id card after taking photos and collecting fingerprints with your household registration book to the public security organ. The public security organ shall, in accordance with the provisions, apply for the collection, renewal and replacement of resident identity cards. The public security organ shall issue resident identity cards within 60 days from the date when citizens submit the registration form of resident identity cards. In areas with inconvenient transportation, the processing time may be appropriately extended, and the extension time shall not exceed 30 days. If you need to use temporary id card urgently, you can apply for temporary id card and get it on the same day. The validity period is 3 months.
