A large number of Jiangxi immigrants from Anqing moved into Anqing. According to Zhu Shu, a scholar of Tongcheng School in the early Qing Dynasty, "Since the Yuan Dynasty, Anhui people have not been ancient Anhui people, but migrated from Jiangxi. The people who moved from other provincial capitals were wrong, and the indigenous people were only eleven or two ears. " In the early Ming Dynasty, 80%-90% of Anqing residents were forced to emigrate from other governments. The existing local genealogy of Anqing basically confirms the Zhu Shu theory and the history of Chinese immigration.

After a large number of immigrants arrived in Anqing area, they were told by the court that they were not allowed to move back to their places of origin, and that brothers and relatives were not allowed to contact each other, otherwise hell to pay. However, these migrant centers who have left their homes have always had the illusion that they can return to their hometown one day. Therefore, after the death of the elderly immigrants at that time, according to the wishes of the deceased, under the compulsory policy that the imperial court did not allow immigrants to move back to their original places, the coffins were temporarily parked, and the coffins that had been temporarily stored in the coffin room eventually had to be buried.

In this way, with the passage of time, the funeral way that early immigrants yearned for their hometown has gradually become a unique custom and culture in Anqing, which has been used to this day. This traditional funeral custom was interrupted until June of 14, and the burial also disappeared. As a stranger who has been away from home for many years, I want to record the dusty history of my hometown here.

In China, many places have their customs. Why don't Tibetans eat fish?
