I applied to immigrate to Quebec, Canada, and I heard that I would receive CSQ. What does this mean?
CSQ is an immigration choice certificate issued by Quebec government, which proves that the applicant has passed Quebec immigration regulations.
Obtaining CSQ can basically guarantee an immigrant visa in Quebec. Unless you have problems in physical examination, security inspection and background investigation, obtaining CSQ may not necessarily lead to an immigrant visa.
