Whose descendants does "little nyonya" refer to?

Many people are very strange to the word "Niangjiao". Literally, it seems to refer to girls aged from 20 to 30, but in fact, Nyonya refers to a generation who worked hard with local people in Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi coastal Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Malacca from 14 and 15 century when China was still in the Ming Dynasty. Because they are all from China, China people used to be collectively referred to as descendants of Daming. Little nyonya mainly refers to the female offspring, and the male is chan chan.

With the long-term collision and inheritance of various cultures, China culture and Nanhai culture have been preserved and merged. Their internal families tend to Fujian Minnan dialect, and their grammatical structure is almost consistent with Chinese logical thinking. However, due to the influence of local Malay or Thai, they will change the usage of some words accordingly. Of course, they have no problem communicating with local people.

The descendants of Nyonya can stand firm in a foreign country and enjoy a high reputation in the local society so far. Thanks to the long-standing struggle belief of Chinese descendants, especially Fujian descendants, they can have today's social prestige, which is the accumulation of several generations. In the local society, Nyonya Group is mainly engaged in commerce, especially import and export trade, with strong strength. With the prosperity of family economy, the children of future generations have received better education, so they are developing better now.

Today, little nyonya is still synonymous with a dish, because it combines the mixed flavors of local cuisines from China, Malaysia and Thailand, and is more full of sweet and sour taste buds stimulation than Chinese food. However, Thai food is relatively milder than Malaysian food, and it is also loved by the general public at present, especially desserts.
