Where is Longnan?

Longnan city is located in the southeast of Gansu province, at the junction of Shaanxi, Gansu and Sichuan provinces. In the sixth year of Ding Yuan in the Western Han Dynasty (BC 165438+ BC 0 1), Longnan was named after Longshan (also known as Tommy Tam) in China. With a total area of 27,900 square kilometers, the city governs Wudu District, Dangchang, Wenxian, Kangxian, Chengxian, Huixian, Liangdang, Lixian, Xihe, 8 counties, 2 provincial economic development zones, 1 provincial industrial park and Wudu Industrial Park.

The total population is 2.83 million, of which the agricultural population is 2.28 million. Longnan is the only minority autonomous prefecture in Gansu Province, and it is also one of the important energy and chemical bases in Gansu Province. Longnan is the region with the richest water resources in Gansu Province. There are many rivers and abundant water in China. There are more than 20 rivers with annual runoff 1 100 million cubic meters, with concentrated drop, small seasonal variation, high development efficiency, superior conditions for developing water conservancy and hydropower and broad prospects. The theoretical reserve of water conservancy in China is 4.25 million kilowatts, and the exploitable capacity is 2.23 million kilowatts, accounting for about one third of the whole province.
