Can I apply for a British visa if I have a prison record in China?

Yes, British tourist visas are different from immigrant visas, and there is no need to submit documents such as proof of no criminal record.

Please follow the steps below to apply for a UK visa.

first step

Visit the UK Visa and Immigration website and apply for a visa online.

Second step

To complete the visa application, you must make an appointment and go to one of the China 12 visa centers. All applicants must make an appointment in advance. Unscheduled applicants will no longer be accepted.

Third step

Please arrive at the visa center 15 minutes in advance on the day of booking application. Bring an appointment form, application materials, passport and another valid identity document. When you arrive at the visa center, you will get a call list. Please wait patiently for the call and submit your application.

Please keep your receipt as evidence for collecting information in the future.

Important notice: after submitting the application at the visa center, you will not be able to supplement the materials again. The materials you submit at the time of application will serve as the only evidence for the trial.

Fourth step

Collect fingerprints and photos at the visa center (also known as biometric information collection). This includes digital fingerprint scanning (10 fingers) and digital photography. Fingerprint scanning uses an electronic scanner, which does not need ink, liquid and chemicals. You must ensure that there are no decorations (such as henna dyeing), knife cuts, abrasions or other marks on your fingers, because these will affect the feasibility of providing valid fingerprints. Your digital photos must cover the whole face, except sunglasses and any colored lenses, and there must be no obstacles on your head except for religious and medical purposes. Your face must be clearly visible, without hair covering your eyes. If you don't provide biological information, we won't be able to accept your visa application.
