Turkey's latest entry policy July 202 1

Turkey has announced that it will soon implement a new entry policy, so friends, if you plan to travel in the near future, you can pay attention to it. The current access restrictions and related requirements may be somewhat different from before, so friends can learn more about them.

The Turkish government announced the implementation of the latest immigration policy 202 1 from June 30th;

1- Entry restriction:

Passengers flying to Turkey from Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka were suspended. However, transit passengers are not affected, and passengers can depart from these countries/regions and transfer directly to a third country without entering Turkey.

In addition, for passengers whose flights come from other countries and have been to Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka in the past 14 days, they must submit negative proof of nucleic acid test within 72 hours before entering Turkey, and take centralized isolation measures at designated isolation hotels 14 days after entering Turkey. Accommodation and transportation expenses are self-care. After the isolation period expires 14 days, the nucleic acid is detected, and if the detection result is negative, the isolation period ends.

2- Passengers entering from Afghanistan and Pakistan have special requirements:

Passengers from Afghanistan and Pakistan and those who have been to these countries in the past 14 days must submit negative proof of nucleic acid test within 72 hours before entering Turkey, and take centralized isolation measures in designated isolation hotels 10 days after entering Turkey. Accommodation and transportation expenses are self-care. At the end of 7 days of separation, a nucleic acid test is conducted, and if the test result is negative, the separation period ends.

3- Passengers from Britain, Iran, Egypt and Singapore have special requirements:

Passengers departing from Britain, Iran, Egypt and Singapore are required to submit negative nucleic acid test certificates, and the test results must be completed within 72 hours before entering Turkey.

4- In addition to the above countries, passengers entering from other countries (including Chinese mainland, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province Province) must:

There is no need to submit a negative certificate of nucleic acid test, and the isolation measures can be exempted as follows:

1) If you have completed the vaccination in COVID-19, please show the certificate issued by the medical institution that you completed the vaccination more than 14 days before entering Turkey.

2) If you are a rehabilitated person in COVID-19, you should provide a complete rehabilitation certificate issued by a medical institution within 6 months after the first nucleic acid test was positive for 28 days.

If passengers can't produce the proof that they have completed vaccination for more than 65,438+04 days, or COVID-19 rehabilitation personnel can't provide the complete rehabilitation certificate within 28 days and 6 months from the first positive nucleic acid test, they must submit the negative certificate of nucleic acid test within 72 hours before entering Turkey or the negative certificate of rapid antigen test within 48 hours before entering Turkey.

5- The Ministry of Health of Turkey can conduct nucleic acid sampling and testing according to the destination of passengers.

Passengers can continue to their final destination after collecting test samples. If the result of nucleic acid sampling test is positive, it will be treated according to the COVID-19 diagnosis and treatment plan of Turkish Ministry of Health. Passengers with positive test results and their close contacts were isolated at home 14 days. If the nucleic acid test result is negative on day 10, the isolation period ends. If the passengers are found to be infected with Delta mutant virus, the nucleic acid test that must be carried out again on the first 14 day of the quarantine period is negative, and the quarantine period is over.

6- The above entry policy does not apply to transit passengers.

7- Exempt seafarers, truck drivers and aircraft crew from inspection and isolation requirements.
