Objective To explore the changes of hypertension prevalence and blood pressure level in natural population in Chengdu 15 years. A cohort of 1365 men and women aged 35-64 was established by random sampling. The risk factors of this cohort were investigated for the second time. There are 106 1 people with complete information. In this study, the prevalence of hypertension in 106 1 population and the changes of blood pressure level before and after 15 were epidemiological analyzed.

Results ① During the period of 15, the systolic blood pressure of men and women in all age groups increased with age, and the increase was more obvious with age. Diastolic blood pressure also increases with age, but the increase is U-shaped: the increase is the smallest in the age group of 45-54. ② The systolic blood pressure of both men and women increased significantly, and the increase of systolic blood pressure of men was greater than that of women. For diastolic blood pressure, both men and women increased. ③ During the period of 15, the prevalence of hypertension in all age groups of men and women showed an upward trend, among which the prevalence of hypertension in the young group of men and women increased the most, but the prevalence of hypertension in the old group was higher. ④ During the period of15, the total prevalence of hypertension in men increased from 13.2% to 510.2%, and in women it increased from 14.0% to 45.1%; Conclusion With the increase of age, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in all age groups increase obviously, but the increasing trend is inconsistent among all age groups.
