Are there any Han people handed down from the Tang Dynasty in Xinjiang?
During the prosperous period of the Tang Dynasty, the Silk Road extended to the Mediterranean coast, and the number of Han Chinese entering the Western Regions increased greatly, mainly concentrated in Yizhou (now Hami City), Xizhou (now Turpan Basin), Tingzhou (now the northern foot of Jimsar Mountain to Manas County) and Anxi four towns (now Yanqi, Qiuci, Shule and Yutian) established by the central government of the Tang Dynasty. They include soldiers and their families, farmers, businessmen and prisoners.
In the Tang Dynasty, southern Xinjiang was mainly indigenous to the Iranian language family, and they were descendants of ancient Serbs.
The grassland in northern Xinjiang is dominated by Turkic ethnic groups, including Uighur and Tushiqi.
However, regardless of the north and south, there are still many Han immigrants, especially in cities, which are estimated to account for half. At the same time, there are a large number of Sogdians living in the city, who are commercial immigrants.
After the Anshi Rebellion in the mid-Tang Dynasty, southern Xinjiang was occupied by Tubo, northern Xinjiang was occupied by Uighurs, and later southern Xinjiang was occupied by Uighurs. The original ethnic groups, including a large number of Han and Serbian ethnic groups, were Turkized and formed the present Uighurs.

The neighboring countries of the Tang Dynasty, Silla, Koguryo, Baekje, Bohai Sea and Japan, were greatly influenced by the Tang Dynasty in political system and social culture.
In the first half of the Tang Dynasty, the economy and society showed an upward trend, the society was advanced and the culture was prosperous. Historically, China was a great dynasty whose culture, art and technology were exported to neighboring countries, and its social atmosphere was inclusive. At the same time, it provided an unprecedented exchange and integration environment for all ethnic groups living in Cyprus since the Sixteen Countries, and the rulers also learned a lot from foreign civilizations.
The late Tang Dynasty was in the transitional period of China's history, and the reform of land, salt and iron, taxation and other systems marked the social changes. The prosperity since the mid-Tang Dynasty is mainly manifested in the prosperity of industry and commerce.
