Thursday, July 2nd Weather: Light rain.

After dinner, our whole family sat in the living room and watched TV. Suddenly, there was a cry of "Wang Wang" outside.

"No one?" Grandpa took a photo around the dam with a flashlight and said doubtfully.

Just as Grandpa crossed the threshold and was about to go back to the living room to enjoy the TV program, who knows that a small snake quickly climbed into the house from behind.

Mom and grandma cried, and my brother immediately stood on the chair. My brother threw himself into grandma's arms, and my reaction was quick-before they came to their senses, I jumped on the bed and got into bed, revealing only a pair of eager eyes, carefully searching for the whereabouts of the little snake. My heart thumped, thinking: even if the little snake climbed into bed, should it bite the quilt first? !

Grandpa is really a hero. He walked slowly to the corner where the snake was hiding, gently pressed the head of the snake with one foot, grabbed the tail of the snake with his hand, and smiled and said to us, "My grandchildren are back, and the snake has come to join in the fun!"

My hometown is Linfen, which has a long history and culture. According to my father, it is one of the earliest birthplaces of the Chinese nation. Pingyang was the capital of Wang Yao more than 4,000 years ago, so it is called the first capital of China, the oldest city in China and the hometown of Wang Yao. This is a beautiful place with beautiful scenery, rich products and outstanding people.

There are many places of interest in my hometown, such as the first Huamen in the world, which is a monument of Chinese civilization, but because it represents and embodies the oldest history and culture in China, it can be called the "first door in the world" in culture, that is, the gate of Chinese civilization; Drum Tower is the highest existing drum tower in China. Hukou Waterfall, known as the second largest waterfall in China; Guangsheng Temple, whose Hongfei Tower is the highest glazed tower in China; Ancient Huai is the starting point of Shanxi's migration to the Central Plains in the early Ming Dynasty. On Sunday morning, my grandparents and I went to this sunny world.

On the way, I passed a small park with fitness equipment, slides, swings and seesaws. Many men, women and children gathered here to exercise. Crossing Yanhe Road, we came to Hesui River. I once heard my mother say that the He Sui River, which runs through Jiyuan from east to west, is like two main arteries, nourishing my hometown folks. On both sides of the He Sui River, the grass is lush, the wild flowers are colorful, and the willows just spit out buds. Whenever dusk falls, the flashing lights on both sides of the Hesui River fall from the sky like the Milky Way, dressing Jiyuan as a "city that never sleeps" more beautiful than during the day.

I love Jiyuan, and I love the beautiful He Sui in my hometown.
