The opening arrangements for visa application centers in various countries are as follows:
Germany:
1 German visa application center (Beijing, Jinan, Changsha, Shenyang, Shanghai, Chengdu, Kunming, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Fuzhou) will reopen on February 17, and the German Visa Center in Hangzhou will reopen on February 24.
Portugal:
Due to the holiday of the Portuguese Consulate in Shanghai, the Portuguese Visa Application Center in Shanghai (including the Portuguese Visa Application Center in Hangzhou) will be closed on February 25, 2008. Reopened on the 26th. The Nanjing Visa Application Center will be closed this week (February 24, 2008 to February 28, 2008) until further notice. Portuguese visa application centers in Wuhan, Chongqing, Xi'an, Hangzhou and Nanjing will remain closed. The reopening date of the visa center may be adjusted again upon receipt of further notification from relevant government agencies at all levels.
Spain:
The working hours of the Spanish Consul General in Shanghai and its consular visa centers (Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing) are February 24, 2008. The working hours of the Spanish Wuhan Visa Center are March 11, 2008. The working hours of Chongqing Visa Center are February 24, 2008. Netherlands:
Currently only passport collection services and emergency visa application services confirmed by the consulate are open.
Finland:
Visa application centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan, Shenyang, Chengdu, Kunming, Changsha, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Fuzhou and Hangzhou will open from February 24 to March Visa application and passport return services will be provided on the 6th. Denmark:

United Kingdom:
British Airways temporarily suspends flights to mainland China (Beijing, Shanghai) until February 29. The cancellation period for British Airways flights from London Heathrow Airport to Beijing and Shanghai has been extended to March 31, 2008 (inclusive). Flights in and out of Hong Kong will not be affected.
Netherlands:
KLM will resume flight services to Beijing and Shanghai from March 16. There are flights between the two cities every other day, so KLM offers at least one flight a day between Amsterdam and mainland China. KLM Chengdu, Hangzhou and Xiamen route services will be suspended until March 28 (inclusive).
France:
Air France has decided to extend the suspension of flights between Beijing and Shanghai until March 15, 2008 (inclusive). From March 16, flight operations between Beijing and Shanghai will gradually resume, and Beijing and Shanghai will operate one flight every other day. In this way, Air France-KLM will achieve daily flights from Paris or Amsterdam to Shanghai or Beijing, depending on daily operations. Air France Wuhan services will be suspended until March 28 (inclusive).
Finland:
Finn Airlines has modified its flight suspension plan: from February 6 to 29, it will suspend flights to all destinations in China. Flights to Beijing Daxing and Guangzhou will be canceled from February 5 to March 29, and flights to Nanjing will be canceled from February 8 to March 29. From January 31st to February 9th, bookings from Chinese airlines will not be accepted.
Italy:
Announced the suspension of all flights in and out of mainland China. Direct flights between China Airlines and Italian charter company Neos will be affected.
Nordic:
From January 31st to February 29th, Scandinavian Airlines suspended flights to China (Beijing, Shanghai).
Poland:
Polish Airlines has suspended the operation of China routes (Beijing Daxing, Beijing Capital) until February 29.
European routes
Egypt:
Egypt Air will fly from Cairo to Beijing from February 27, 2008 to March 28, 2008. Guangzhou, Guangzhou-Beijing-Cairo routes. EgyptAir is the first overseas airline to resume operations.
Other routes
Air China plans to resume international direct flights from Chengdu to Frankfurt on February 28. Air China's Chengdu-Frankfurt return flight number is CA431/432. The Airbus A330-200 long-range main aircraft is put into operation by Air China Southwest Branch, with two flights every Tuesday and Friday.
