If I lose my passport, can I reissue it?
1. First inform the Immigration Bureau of the loss of passport and visa, and then inform the school to postpone the start date.
2. Report the case to the lost police station and obtain the report certificate.
3. Report the loss in the newspaper designated by the local municipal exit-entry administration.
4. Bring my ID card and household registration book, and go to the local entry-exit administration office to go through the passport replacement formalities with the above two certificates. The prescribed time limit for the formalities is 3 months.
5. After obtaining the passport, get in touch with the embassy, submit the report certificate and the copy of the loss report statement to the person in charge of the embassy, and go through the visa subsidy procedures.
