Gao Yan Village, Laozhou Town is located in the easternmost part of Zongyang County, 3.5 kilometers south of Tongling Yangtze River Bridge, adjacent to PuJiwei Farm in the north, separated from Hongyang Village in the west by a 5-kilometer-long Yangtze River levee, adjacent to the Yangtze River in the east and far from Tongling City. The village covers an area of 3,650 mu, including 980 mu of cultivated land. There are 12 village groups and 7 12 households with a total population of 2400.
