What are the F and M visas in passport visa?

They are all American study visas, but there are differences.

1 Original theory from academic projects

Obtaining an F- 1 visa means that students will participate in an academic project in the United States, which will have core courses.

Get an M- 1 visa: Students can only do relevant work in the first six months after arriving in the United States. Students need to apply to the US Citizenship and Immigration Service for transfer. Students must fill out Form I-539 and apply for extension or change of non-immigrant status.

Can I work during my stay in America?

Get an F- 1 visa: You can get permission to work during the study period or after the study plan.

Get an F- 1 visa: You can take part in four types of work, including: on-campus work, off-campus work when you are in financial difficulties, in-class practical training (CPT) and optional internship training (OPT).

Obtaining M- 1 visa: Only one type of work can be participated, that is, internship training (PT), and those who participate in the study plan every four months can participate in this type of work for one month.

Get an F- 1 visa: anyone can stay in the United States during his study.

Get an F- 1 visa: OPT or stay in the United States for up to 60 days after the end of the study program.
