At present, many States in the United States have implemented home orders, and all non-essential work is done at home, which has brought a lot of trouble to immigration applications that have been pressing for application time and collecting a lot of proof materials. This measure has alleviated the impact of the epidemic on immigration applications to a certain extent.
Earlier, the Immigration Bureau announced that it would suspend the external business of offices all over the country until June 4, during which all public-oriented businesses, such as interviews, naturalization oaths, fingerprints and seals, were suspended. Whether the reply can be confirmed after June 4 remains to be further informed by the Immigration Bureau.
However, the non-external business of the Immigration Bureau will continue to handle and receive various applications. It will not be directly affected for the time being, although it may reduce the efficiency of home office, and it will have potential impact.
