I am an American spouse immigrant and have received an address confirmation letter. What's next? How long will it take to see the official?

The steps of spouse immigration CR 1(IR 1) are as follows:

Expect the prepared materials to arrive at USCIS, then come to P 1, P 1 and wait for P2. It will take about six months at present.

Then wait for P2.5 (paid I-864 economic guarantee and DS-260).

Then come to P3. It will be faster if you switch to electronic application.

Then come to P4, and P4 will inform you of the time and place of the interview (including the hospital for physical examination).

If you apply in China, it should add up to 8 months-1 year.

If you apply again in the United States, it should take about 6 months.
