Are the Duoan people in Africa aliens from Sirius?

It was seen that the earth people discovered Sirius' companion star in 1862, while the Duoan people didn't know that Sirius had a companion star until 1930. Can civilization on Sirius evolve rapidly? At present, mankind has used many methods to try to find the planet of Sirius, the neighbor of the sun, and found nothing. There are no aliens on Sirius, and the Duoan people on earth have nothing to do with Sirius.
