Legal basis: Article 7 of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China. Foreigners or stateless persons applying for citizenship in China must meet two preconditions:

(a) the applicant is a close relative of China people;

(2) The applicant has settled in China;

(3) There are other justifiable reasons. If I am under the age of 18, my guardian or other legal representative can handle the application procedures on my behalf. In China, you can apply to the local city and county public security bureau; In foreign countries, you can apply to our diplomatic representative offices or consular offices. The above-mentioned authorities are responsible for accepting applications and examining whether the applicants meet the legal requirements, and then the applications are examined and approved by the Ministry of Public Security of China.

With the approval of the Ministry of Public Security and a certificate issued by the relevant public security organ, the applicant has obtained China nationality and lost his foreign nationality at the same time.
