At this time, some literary and art units in the provincial capital targeted more than a dozen key actors of the troupe and wanted to take them away. In order to keep the drama and troupe, the troupe returned to their hometown; At this time, the county leaders realized the extraordinary significance of protecting this kind of drama and gave us 6 household registration indicators and 24 recruitment indicators. Daoqing Troupe has once again gained a firm foothold in its hometown. 1986, Linxian Editorial Committee officially issued a document, agreeing to restore Linxian Daoqing Troupe. However, the original state-owned nature has not been restored, and the funds are mainly self-supporting, and a small amount of financial subsidies are only enough to maintain the simple survival of the troupe. In this case, all the staff of the troupe carried forward the spirit of hard work and dedication, and used a small amount of funds to excavate and sort out a large number of plays, so that the Taoist situation in Linxian County could continue to develop in difficulties and fatigue.

In the 1980s, Daoqing Troupe trained more than a dozen top actors (some of whom have now become top provincial actors). These actors won numerous awards in regional performances, and the troupe was praised by the masses as "a flower on Luliang Mountain".

In the 1990s, with the development of market economy, the number of theatrical troupes increased, and the price rose sharply, but the theater price did not increase significantly. Therefore, the salary of actors can not be greatly increased, the troupe is brain drain, the economy is difficult, and the survival is not guaranteed, let alone artistic reproduction (mainly rehearsing new plays). In this case, on the one hand, the troupe strives to win the support of government departments, on the other hand, it borrows money to make a living, retains talents and protects operas. By 1997, the state had conducted an investigation on small dramas, and the investment troupe produced a large-scale modern Taoist drama Gegewan, which won the regional performance award and was unanimously recognized by experts and leaders.

1998 and 1999, the troupe held two training courses to supplement fresh blood, and successively created and rehearsed many Taoist dramas, which further developed the Taoist feelings in Linxian county. 1962, in the drama performance in Shaanxi province, the newly created Taoist drama Liu Shuping won the first prize.

1988, in the "Lvliang Cup" drama performance, the newly created Taoist drama "Garden Match" won the first prize; Kill the Dog and Persuade the Husband won the second prize.

During the period of 1997, the Taoist drama Geqiwan won the first prize in the drama selection held in Luliang area.

In 2002, the newly created Taoist drama Nanny won the first prize in Shanxi Province and the "Five Ones" project award in the "Three Primary Schools" exhibition.
