How to do the academic qualification certification of NZQA?

NZQA = New Zealand Certification Authority. NZQA is a government agency in New Zealand, and one of its functions is to evaluate overseas academic qualifications. The role of the New Zealand Quality Assurance Agency is to ensure that New Zealand's academic qualifications are well-known in New Zealand and internationally.

NZQA has two kinds of overseas academic qualifications, one is for further study or work, and the other is for evaluating the academic performance of skilled immigrants. Here is mainly about academic evaluation for the purpose of immigration.

1. Confirm whether your education needs to be evaluated.

First of all, please go to the list of New Zealand Immigration Education published on the website of New Zealand Immigration to confirm whether your education is on this list. If so, NZQA certification is not needed.

All adult education diplomas, radio and TV university diplomas, adult higher education self-study exam diplomas, junior college diplomas and postgraduate diplomas need to pass NZQA academic certification.

2.NZQA Pre-assessment

After determining that your academic qualifications need NZQA assessment, you can choose the preliminary assessment of advanced NZQA. Because the full set of evaluation is expensive and the initial evaluation is approved by EOI, you can choose to do the initial evaluation of academic qualifications to save time and money at the stage of submitting EOI for skilled immigrants.

2. 1 Preliminary assessment of application time

Within 20 working days after the formal receipt of the application, it cannot be expedited.
