Introduction to Qingshui Town
Qingshui Town is located at the western end of the Hexi Corridor, at the northern foot of the Qilian Mountains, in the southeast of Suzhou District, 75 kilometers away from Jiuquan City, connected to Gaotai County, Zhangye City in the east; and Ming Dynasty, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, Zhangye City in the north. The chemical zone faces each other across the Badain Jaran Desert; it is adjacent to Fengle Township of Suzhou District to the west, reaches the foot of Qilian Mountain to the south, and borders Qilin Township of Sunan County. The geographical coordinates are between 99°00′ east longitude and 39°00′---39°30′ north latitude. The total area is 742km2 (382km2 in Qingshui and 360km2 in Tunsheng). The cultivated land area is 57,014 acres (25,471 acres in Qingshui and 31,543 acres in Tunsheng). At the end of 2006, there were 5,643 households in the town, with a total population of 20,227, including 3,129 households in Qingshui (3,129 households, 2,547 agricultural households, 56 households in agricultural and forestry household committees, and 286 households in the three neighborhood committees of Qingshui Street East, Street West, and Street North, with a total population of 10,721 people, including 1016 non-agricultural population and 9705 agricultural population),
