Guan Bihong's Life Experience

Guan Bihong grew up in a poor family, his parents were farmers, and he had no money to study, but he passed the Xuancheng Middle School in Anhui with his hard work. However, from a poor family, he can't even afford the tuition and fees of more than 20 yuan. Guan Bihong went to Xuancheng Middle School with her mother. Because she didn't sign up to pay the money, she left in a depressed mood and slept at Xuancheng bus station for one night. After Guan Bihong and his mother returned to the countryside of Liu Yang for more than twenty days, they received a letter from Xuancheng Middle School. The letter said: "The school understands your practical difficulties and is ready to give you a grant. Please report to school as soon as possible. " . This undoubtedly brought hope to depressed Guan Bihong. It is with this gratitude that Guan Bihong later set up the "Guan Bihong Scholarship" at his alma mater Xuancheng Middle School to reward outstanding students.

After graduating from junior high school, Guan Bihong caught up with the Cultural Revolution and went back to his hometown to farm. Guan Bihong, who can go back to the countryside, is not discouraged. While working, he wrote a radio manuscript. He wrote for the county radio station. At first, his manuscript was not hired, and then he kept writing and writing. Gradually, Guan Bihong's radio manuscripts are often adopted. At the climax, his manuscript was broadcast on the county radio station almost every week. The local people also got familiar with Guan Bihong through the radio.

Guan Bihong was famous when he recommended workers, peasants and soldiers to go to college, so the commune of Liu Yang Commune and the cadres of 14 Brigade unanimously recommended Guan Bihong to go to college. In this way, Guan Bihong was successfully admitted to Anhui Normal University.

After graduating from college, Guan Bihong stayed on as a teacher. 1988, 40-year-old Guan Bihong was sent to the United States to study at his own expense, and obtained a master's degree and a doctor's degree successively.

He took advantage of his job opportunities to contact old overseas Chinese, new overseas Chinese, students, scholars and Chinese businessmen, and established the Greater Philadelphia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 1997. 1On September 27th, 998, he personally presided over the celebration of the 49th anniversary of China's 1 1 National Day, where he raised the five-star red flag for the first time. A grand parade was held on the main streets of Philadelphia for the first time to celebrate China's National Day. The following year, he was elected as the chairman of the National Day Organizing Committee of the overseas Chinese community in Greater Philadelphia, and led the overseas Chinese in Philadelphia to hold a rally and parade in Philadelphia City Hall Square on September 26th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Day. Later, he was invited to return to China to attend the 50th National Day ceremony. Since then, with the participation of overseas Chinese, Philadelphia has held rallies and parades to celebrate the 1 1 China National Day.
