A grand parade was held on the main streets of Philadelphia for the first time to celebrate China's National Day. The following year, he was elected as the chairman of the National Day Organizing Committee of the overseas Chinese community in Greater Philadelphia, and led the overseas Chinese in Philadelphia to hold a rally and parade in Philadelphia City Hall Square on September 26th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Day. Later, he was invited to return to China to attend the 50th National Day ceremony. Since then, with the participation of overseas Chinese, Philadelphia has held rallies and parades to celebrate the 1 1 China National Day.
