Issuance of seafarers' passports

I am an on-the-job crew member, currently in Panama. Generally speaking, ships will apply in advance for which country to enter. For example, after we come to Panama, we will go to Panama City, their capital, for one day every month. Immigration will take away our passports and apply for a small pass for us. Before leaving the country, they are usually kept by the local government. Under normal circumstances, they are all inspected before going to the field. I hope I can help you ~
