History of Jianghua No.1 Middle School

The school was founded in the autumn of 1956, located in Shuikou Town, then the county seat. Formerly known as Jianghua Yao Autonomous County Ethnic Junior High School, 1959 began to recruit high school students, renamed Jianghua Yao Autonomous County First Ethnic Middle School, 1970 renamed Jianghua County Ethnic Middle School, 1978 designated as Lingling District (now Yongzhou City) key middle school, 1980 renamed Jianghua Yao Autonomous County First Ethnic Middle School. 1985 The county moved to Tuojiang Town. 1996 The county party committee and government decided to move to No.1 Middle School. In August, 2000, the school moved to Tuojiang Town, the county seat, and was renamed as "No.1 Middle School of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County". The name of the school was inscribed by Comrade Tang Zhixiang, then vice governor.
