Ji Xiang Temple

Ji Xiang Temple was built in the third year of Taiping and Xingguo in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 978), and its old name was Xingfu. Later, it was named "Ji Xiang Temple" by Song Zhenzong, which was destroyed in the war at the end of Yuan Dynasty. The architectural style of Ji Xiang Temple can be traced back to the Tang and Song Dynasties, and it is unique among the existing temples dominated by the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is the only temple in the center of Hangzhou at present.
