List of application conditions for studying in Australia
1. Transfer application:
Generally speaking, the transfer must meet the following application conditions:
1. Students must complete the subjects they have studied for 6 months (excluding the previous language courses) before they can apply for transfer.
2. For packaged courses, you must complete the first six months of the main course, not the six months after the first course, before you can apply for transfer.
3. If a student wants to transfer before completing the six-month course, the registered educational institution must review the student's requirements according to the transfer policy and procedures, and then issue a release letter.
4. If you refuse to apply for transfer, you must have reasons that conform to the original intention of the transfer regulations and the transfer policy of registered educational institutions, and submit the reasons to the students in writing.
5. If the registered educational institution refuses to issue a release letter to the students or fails to reply within the time limit stipulated by the policy, the students can make complaints and appeals through the school complaint office.
Before students apply for the release letter, they should get an effective proposal from the new educational institution.
7. There is no charge for educational institutions to issue release letters.
8./kloc-Students under the age of 0/8 applying for transfer must be signed by their legal guardians or parents. If a student has neither parents nor suitable designated relatives in Australia, the educational institution receiving the student must be responsible for arranging accommodation for the student. This must be stated in the quotation.
9. Educational institutions must record the process and results of students' application for release letter and transfer.
Second, the letter of application for release
Release letter means that the school terminates the contract with the students and cancels the courses that the students have registered.
Under the premise of no special reasons, ordinary schools will not give it to students easily, which means that students must complete formal courses at least half a year at school.
If the course is related to the new course that students intend to learn, there will be no big problem and at most some credits will be lost. But if it is two completely different courses, the time will be delayed for half a year, not to mention the loss of money.
So, some students thought of the method of drawing letters. Perhaps in the past, this method was a good strategy, and the price was nothing more than a one-way ticket. However, the Immigration Bureau suggested that when the school accepts transfer students who have not reached the six-month study period, the students must issue a release letter provided by the original school.
Three. Application for changing major:
If you change the department and major of the same school, you only need to get the consent of the school and find Advisor to transfer to the school, so you can change to your favorite major without notifying the Immigration Bureau.
