Is there a preferential policy for the old-age insurance for immigrants flooded by the Three Gorges Project?

Take Chongqing as an example, local policies are different. It is recommended to consult the local social security center. If they are immigrants from the Three Gorges reservoir area, they should apply for the basic old-age insurance within the specified time according to the Notice of Chongqing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Chongqing Immigration Bureau, Chongqing Finance Bureau and Chongqing Public Security Bureau on Relevant Issues Concerning Rural to Non-rural Immigrants in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area in Chongqing (No.3 [2009] of the People's Society). If you are an urban hukou now, you can also apply for the basic old-age insurance for employees of urban enterprises as an individual, with a minimum payment of 15 years. For example, you are now a rural hukou, not working in an employer, not a flexible employee. You can only participate in the endowment insurance for urban and rural residents.
