Brief introduction of ancient town

The old city is located 23 kilometers southwest of the county seat, upstream of the north bank of Danjiangkou Reservoir. Jinhe Town in the north, Maden and Shangji in the east, Dashiqiao Township in the west, and Wansheng Town and Taohe Township across the Danjiang River in the south. The whole town covers an area of 1 17 square kilometers, and now governs 2 1 administrative villages and 235 villagers' groups with a total population of 20,300, including agricultural population of 1.9 million. It is a big immigrant town in Xichuan County. The population of the old city of South-to-North Water Transfer Project is10.6 million, and most of them moved to Xinxiang City, Kaifeng City and Nanyang City in Henan Province, and most of them moved for the third and fourth time to build Danjiangkou Reservoir. It's hard to leave my hometown, but I'm reluctant to leave my hometown for the sake of China people's "South-to-North Water Transfer Project". Old Town of South-to-North Water Transfer Project: The villages involved in relocation include Wujiazhou Village, Xianfeng Village, Guanfu Village, Hushanpu Village, Yangshan Village, Xiawan Village of Shizigang Village, Peiling Village, Yegou Village, Anwa Village, Xiaojie Village, Chen Ling Village, Shijiagou Village, Xinjian Village, Sam Village, Shimen Village and Qili Village. Before the relocation, there were 25 villages in the town. After the relocation, there are 2 1 villages left, among which four administrative villages, Yishanpu Village, Shizigang Village, Xinjian Team Village and Anwa Village, have disappeared from the territory of the old city forever.
