Where is Honghu Lake?
The English name of Honghu Lake is Hung Lake. Also known as Hong Hu. It is the seventh largest freshwater lake in China and the largest lake in Hubei Province. Located in the depression between the Yangtze River and the Dongjing River in southern Hubei Province. The lake is 25 meters above sea level and covers an area of 4 13 square kilometers. The east and west sides are connected with the Yangtze River, which is a good place to raise fish. Every winter, geese and ducks gather in the area from Heiyuwan to Luoshan in the southern part of the lake area, where waterfowl resources are abundant.
