Are there many people studying abroad?

I think it is normal to return to China many times. I think it is divided into several aspects. Let me talk about my views (taking the United States as an example):

1. China has a strong national strength. There are more opportunities in the market. Let's just say, as an international student with a pure Chinese mainland background. The employment opportunities and choices in the UK, the US or Europe are much less than those in the mainland market (for example, if you study in the US, I want to stay mainly as a programmer, but it is really difficult for others to stay except programmers. For example, some friends I know wanted to study their major at first, but eventually they all switched to computer science and technology (CS). They said that the current recruitment market mainly needs programmers. And as a generation of immigrants (assuming you get a good job abroad and get the nationality of that country), it is not bad to become a middle class (earning 5-20 dollars a year in the United States). However, the middle class is really miserable, because the United States is a high welfare country compared with China, and you have to pay all kinds of taxes. Moreover, the cost of school districts such as children's education and medical insurance has come down, and a middle class, especially a person in the Bay Area, Greater new york Area, Greater Boston Area and Greater Los Angeles Area, is even more sad. Perhaps their middle line should be at least 654.38+ 10,000. 10w+ jobs are hard for many Americans to get all their lives. On the other hand, in China, even if you become a middle class in China (usually about 30w RMB a year), I think most ordinary people can enjoy life except those in the north, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. For example, buy a better car, children can go to the best school, visit a better supermarket once a week, and so on. Needless to say, at present, our country encourages entrepreneurship, especially in industries linked to the Internet. Therefore, during the period when China's national strength is rising, there are more opportunities to return to China than those in highly mature countries in Europe and America.

2. The quality of international students has declined. Because the starting point of studying abroad is very low, you don't need any grades to study in community colleges. You only need TOEFL or IELTS scores to study in some good schools, and you also need to take the sat or other standardized tests in the top 50 schools. However, due to the proliferation of intermediaries in China, some sat counseling mechanisms, and the differences in education systems between the two countries, it is not easy for China students (except those who specialize in mathematics and science) to really compete with American students to some extent. First of all, we are preparing a standardized exam, which many students regard as the college entrance examination. So there must be shortcomings in some aspects, but there is no way out. After all, this is our second language. Bilingual families with excellent family conditions are rare in China. Perhaps only a very small number of children in the first-tier cities of Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen have such conditions. So many foreign students can't fully adapt to this kind of life (including culture, etc.). Therefore, although many foreign students have enrolled in some famous universities, their actual results are not necessarily better than those of mainland undergraduates (although there are also many problems in the undergraduate education mechanism in the mainland). For example, you can get used to 100% for undergraduate studies in the mainland, but you may have to make a discount for undergraduate studies in the United States or other countries. However, studying for a doctorate is different from studying for an undergraduate course. Doctor is more of a kind of scientific research training, which is different from the all-round training of undergraduates. Therefore, students from top universities in the mainland, such as Qingbei, still choose to study in Europe and America. For many students in the United States, especially those who go to the United States in ordinary high schools, their adaptability is definitely worse than that of international high schools and American high schools. Because the American market is highly mature, it is not easy to find a good job. Moreover, in fact, many students in China think that their mathematics level is good, but it is only limited to elementary mathematics. The calculus and other courses they are exposed to in the undergraduate stage still have to start from scratch.

Due to family reasons such as parents, it is estimated that everyone wants this, so I won't say much.

In fact, to tell the truth, many students are returning home now, or because the threshold for going abroad is low and many students who have no real ability to study abroad are released, which will lead to the situation that they can't find a job when they return home. In fact, if a person is really awesome, then he is awesome everywhere. So more people are bound to return to China.
