Port planning of Longkou Port

Construction planning: in 20 10-20 15 years, the planned investment for port construction projects is 8 billion yuan, including 6.5 billion yuan for wharf projects, with 12 new berths and 70 million tons of new port capacity. Focus on the construction of five 654.38 million-ton general berths, four 654.38 million-ton coal berths, 654.38 million-ton crude oil berths and two 50,000-ton multi-purpose berths.

Development goal: Based on the strategic orientation of building a modern logistics center, with the strategic focus on improving the operation efficiency of the main business, building a logistics service platform, extending the logistics service chain and building a virtual logistics alliance, Longkou Port will strive to become a national regional coal distribution center with strong regional radiation capacity and certain international logistics distribution functions, a major petrochemical transit storage and transportation base in Shandong Province and an important container, ore and grain transit base on the south bank of Bohai Sea. It will exceed 1 100 million tons in 2020.
