Slaughtering Shandong people belongs to spreading rumors and smearing. Shandong people are mainly Shandong natives. As can be seen from the surnames, Sun, Song and Sui are typical Shandong surnames, and many of these surnames are in line with the history of going to the East. However, the so-called Shanxi immigration theory is not established at all. The characteristic surname of Shanxi is Guo, which is not in the top ten in Shandong and Northeast China. Therefore, Shandong people were all slaughtered because they were descendants of Shanxi people, which was purely a rumor to discredit Zhu Yuanzhang.
