Information on entry permit for non-permanent residents in Hong Kong

Non-permanent residents can apply for entry permit with their passports.

The detailed regulations of the Immigration Department of Taiwan Province Province are as follows:

Chinese mainland residents from overseas or Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan travel online application notes.

1. These guidelines are formulated to standardize the procedures and the issuance of documents for mainland residents to apply for sightseeing activities in Taiwan from abroad or on the Internet in Hong Kong and Macao.

2. This circular applies to overseas embassies, consulates, representative offices, offices or other government-authorized agencies (hereinafter referred to as overseas offices) where people from Chinese mainland have sent immigration secretaries from the Ministry of the Interior and the Immigration Department (hereinafter referred to as the Department) to apply for entry and exit for sightseeing in Taiwan (see the global information network of the Department for details of overseas offices where immigration secretaries are stationed). When applying for sightseeing activities in Chinese mainland in foreign embassies without immigration secretaries, please follow the "Precautions for People from mainland China to Send Items for Sightseeing in Taiwan".

Qualifications:

(a) studying abroad or in Hong Kong and Macao.

(2) Living abroad or obtaining the permanent residency in Hong Kong or Macao.

(3) Those who live abroad or have obtained the right of abode through relatives in Hong Kong and Macao, and have deposits of NT$ 200,000 or more.

Those who have lived abroad or in Hong Kong and Macao for more than one year and have a work certificate.

Spouses or blood relatives within the second generation of persons living abroad or in Hong Kong or Macao attached to the above paragraphs.

Fourth,

Documents to be prepared:

(1) Application Form and Passenger List: There is no need to print paper to register passenger information in our online system.

(2) Travel plan or itinerary: You don't need to print paper when logging into our online system.

(3) A copy of a passport issued by Chinese mainland with a remaining validity of more than six months or a travel document issued by Hong Kong and Macao: it must be scanned by the immigration secretary of the embassy abroad and uploaded to the online system.

(4) 2-inch color photos with white background in recent two years 1 photo: upload photo files when logging into our online system or provide them to the immigration secretary of overseas libraries for scanning and uploading to the online system.

(5) Qualification documents: submitted in overseas offices of the Immigration Department of this department.

Applicants who meet the conditions in the first paragraph of point 3 should have a copy of the student visa or the original study certificate issued by the local education authorities and a copy of the re-entry visa. Minors who come to Taiwan without parents should attach their parents' consent and proof of kinship (such as birth certificate, proof of public security relationship or registration card of permanent residents in the same household).

Those who apply to accompany the applicant with the qualification of item 5 of point 3 shall attach the documents of kinship with the main applicant (such as birth certificate, marriage certificate or documents issued by local government agencies).

(6) Self-addressed envelope with registered postage: If you come to a foreign embassy accredited by the Minister of Immigration, you don't need an entry and exit permit.

(3) After the immigration secretary of the foreign embassy or consulate has verified it, he will issue an entry-exit permit and issue it to the applicant or notify the applicant to collect it at the original foreign embassy or consulate.

(4) If the online application procedure has been completed, temporary application for adding, replacing or replacing personnel is not allowed.

Matters related to intransitive verbs:

(1) Certificate fee: NT$ 600 per person for a single entry and exit permit; Sign in and check out the permits one by one, with NT$ 600 yuan per person; Multiple entry and exit permits a year, NT$ 1000 per person. (or equivalent local currency value) should be paid when the documents are delivered to the overseas offices of the Immigration Department of this department.

(2) Time limit for examining and issuing certificates (except national statutory holidays): three days from the date when the Foreign Affairs Office of the Immigration Director of the Ministry accepts the application case.

The single entry and exit permit is valid for three months from the date of issuance.

Entry and exit permits shall be issued one by one, and shall be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

3. Multiple entry and exit permits for one year shall be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

The applicant is limited to the entry-exit inspection of airports and ports approved by the Executive Yuan on the basis of one-time entry-exit permit issued by this department, one-time or one-year multiple entry-exit permit, and passport or pass issued by the mainland with the remaining validity of more than six months.

(4) Days of stay in China: from the day after entry, the stay shall not exceed fifteen days.

(5) Delayed stay due to special accidents: If it is impossible to leave the country according to the quota due to illness, disaster or other special accidents, the travel agencies in Taiwan Province Province should prepare the following documents and apply for an extension to the service stations in counties (cities) of the department for no more than seven days at a time:

The certificate fee is NT$ 300 yuan (or equivalent local currency).

7. Anyone who loses his/her entry/exit permit before entering the country shall first apply to the foreign embassy accredited by the Director of Immigration for a replacement, and pay a certificate fee of NT$ 600 yuan (or equivalent in local currency). After re-obtaining the certificate, the certificate will enter the country. The applicant shall not apply for a replacement card after arriving at the airport or port. Those who fail to comply with the regulations are prohibited from entering the country according to the provisions of Paragraph 1, Paragraph 1, Article 17 of the Measures for Permitting People from Mainland China to Visit Taiwan.

8. If the entry and exit pass is lost after entry, the applicant shall personally apply for a replacement at the county (city) service station of the department; If you find that your certificate is lost when you leave the airport or port, you can apply for a replacement at our border affairs team at the airport and port. Those who apply for a replacement must pay a certificate fee of NT$ 300 (or equivalent in local currency) and leave the country with a new certificate.
