Later, he was sealed as a Marquis within the Pass. Liu Bang was besieged by the Xiongnu Maodun Shanyu at Baishan Mountain (in the northeast of present-day Datong City, Shanxi Province). He did not listen to Lou Jing's dissuasion, and used Chen Ping's plan to break the siege and returned to Guangwu. Liu Bang pardoned Lou Jing and said: I No public words are needed to trap the city. Then he changed the title of Lou Jing to the title of Marquis of Jianxin. Two years later, Lou Jing proposed a plan to reconcile with the Huns, and Liu Bang agreed. He named his family member the eldest princess and married Shanyu, so that the Huns would have no worries. Lou Jing also proposed to move the six kingdoms and powerful celebrities to live in Guanzhong to control them. The suggestion was adopted, so in the winter of October of the ninth year of Emperor Gaozu (198 BC), the five tribes of Zhao, Qu, Jing, Huai and Tian and the heroes were moved to Guanzhong. More than 100,000 people are in Guanzhong. This will weaken the powerful forces in Guandong and be near the capital to facilitate control. The above-mentioned policies of Lou Jing were all adopted and implemented by Liu Bang. Once he failed to adopt Lou Jing's words, he was besieged by the Xiongnu for seven days at Baishan Mountain in Pingcheng. He learned a profound lesson. "Chang'an Chronicle" records that there is a Lou Jing Temple in Dongshan Ridge.
