How long can I immigrate after marrying a Canadian citizen?

As long as you get married, your husband can help you immigrate to Canada. This process takes about one and a half years, and it is also divided into domestic and overseas applications. If you apply in Canada, the current estimated processing time is 17 months (counting from the date when CIC, the Canadian Immigration Bureau, accepts the complete application). If you apply outside Canada, the application cycle is divided into two steps. The first step is a preliminary examination of your husband (about 34 days), and the second step is a further detailed examination.
