Survival is a headache for farmers, and safety is a concern for farmers. In the 1920s, the Haiyuan earthquake triggered landslides, and a world-famous earthquake lake was formed around the villagers' group in Zhang Chuan. The earthquake caused the mountain in this area to loosen, and the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan in 2008 further aggravated the instability of the mountain in this area. Almost all the houses of farmers in Zhang Chuan Villagers' Group were built at the foot of this loose mountain. In July, 2009, a sudden rainstorm occurred in the village group area of Zhang Chuan. Heavy rain mixed with hail caused a gap of 5 meters deep and 3 meters wide in a production road due to subsidence. Although it has been repaired, the cracks are still clearly visible. Not only that, the rainwater flowing from the gap between the earth and the mountains also poured into a farmer's home.
