Do I need a visa to go to Brunei? How to deal with it?

Brunei can apply for landing visa. From 1 May, 2065438, China citizens with personal passports can apply for visas on arrival at all ports of entry, including Brunei International Airport, for a stay of 14 days, without applying through a travel agency in advance or providing a guarantor. However, entry into Brunei requires an exit ticket, otherwise entry is not allowed.

Brunei individual visa application process:

Step 1: Log in to the Immigration Bureau of Brunei Foreign Ministry in official website or consult the embassy in China, browse the visa application information and the list of required materials, and download the visa application form.

Brunei tourist visa requires the following materials:

1) Signed by the applicant himself and filled in the visa application form.

2) Passport is valid for at least 6 months, and there are enough blank visa pages.

3) Two recent color passport photos with white background.

4) Copy of the front and back of the ID card.

5) Confirmation and copy of the round-trip air ticket (the journey shall not exceed 14 days).

6) Letter of recommendation from the applicant's current employer (if any) or from a domestic authorized travel agency (including the applicant's personal details).

7) An invitation letter from a guarantor in Brunei, or a confirmation letter from a travel agency authorized by Brunei, or an order confirmation letter from Brunei Hotel.

Step 2: Go through the visa formalities at the China Embassy in China.

Step 3: Wait for the visa review.

Step 4: Get a visa. After getting the visa, you should carefully check whether all the information on the visa is correct, especially whether the start and end time and the number of days of stay of the visa are consistent with the application, and whether the personal information such as the name on the visa is spelled correctly. If you find any mistakes, you should contact the embassy in China in time.
