What are the white people in China?

There are Russians, Kazakhs, Tajiks, Uighurs, Uzbeks and so on.

1, Russian

Russian is one of the 56 ethnic groups of the Chinese nation, belonging to the East Slavic branch of the Slavic family of Indo-European languages. Russians in China use Russian, and generally speak Russian, Chinese, Uygur, Kazakh and other languages. In society, Russians speak and use Chinese. At home, when communicating with their own people, they speak and use Russian.

Russians in China are descendants of Russian immigrants. After a hundred years of assimilation, their appearance, looks and customs are different from those of the Russian ethnic group in Russia, and gradually formed their own national characteristics.

2. Kazakh people

Kazakh, whose national language is Kazakh, belongs to Turkic language family of Altai language family. Kazakhs are mainly in Central Asia and West Asia, and mainly distributed in Kazakhstan, China,? Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Mongolia and other countries.

3. Tajiks

Tajiks belong to Europa-Indo-Mediterranean type, and their national language is Tajik, including two dialects, namely, Lecouls and Wahan, belonging to Pamir branch of Indo-European Iranian language family.

Tajiks mainly live in Central Asia, mainly in Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other countries and regions. Tajiks in China mainly live in Tashkurgan Tajik Autonomous County, Xinjiang.

4. Uighurs

Uygur (Uyghur, English: Uyghur), whose national language is Uyghur, belongs to the Turkic family of Altai language family, and is divided into three dialects: Central Language, Hotan Language and Luobu Language.

Uighurs mainly live in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, mainly distributed in the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain. The oases around Tarim Basin are the centers where Uighurs live together, especially Kashgar Oasis, Hotan Oasis, Aksu River and Tarim River Basin.

Turpan basin at the eastern end of Tianshan Mountain is also a relatively concentrated area of Uighurs. A few Uighurs settled in the Ili Valley, Jimsar and Qitai areas north of Tianshan Mountain. In addition, there are a few Uighurs in Taoyuan County, Hunan Province and Mianchi County, Henan Province.

5. Uzbek people

Uzbeks are called Uzbeks in China and Uzbeks abroad. The national language is Uzbek, belonging to Gologlu branch of Turkic language family of Altai language family.

Uzbeks mainly live in Central Asia, mainly in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan and other countries. The Uzbeks in China are scattered in many counties and cities in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, most of them live in cities and towns, and a few live in rural areas.
