Which port in Gaoping, Vietnam is close to Guangxi?

Gaoping, Vietnam, is close to Shuikou Port of Guangxi.

Shuikou Port: Located on the border between Shuikou Town in the west end of Longzhou County, Guangxi and Vietnam, it is only separated by a river from Tuolong Port in Vietnam, and is only 70 kilometers away from the adjacent capital of Gaoping Province in Vietnam. Chongzuo city center is 102 kilometers away and has a relatively superior geographical location advantage.

Shuikou Port is a national first-class port. It began to open to the outside world in the 57th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1792), and was the earliest gateway for private trade between Guangxi and Vietnam. It was closed in 1979 due to tensions between China and Vietnam, and reopened on December 1, 1993. The port is used for the entry and exit of people from China and Vietnam. It is one of the three major highway national first-class ports in Guangxi's foreign port economy and trade. It is an important channel for China to enter Vietnam and Southeast Asian countries.

Current situation

Since the port resumed foreign trade, import and export trade has increased year by year, gradually becoming a logistics center for Sino-Vietnam trade. According to customs statistics, since 2001, my country's subtropical and temperate fruits exported to Vietnam through Shuikou Port have occupied an absolute dominant position among the port's export commodities for several consecutive years and have become the port's specialty export commodities.

According to statistics, in 2003, my country's exports of various fruits to Vietnam amounted to US$46.155 million, and the fruits exported to Vietnam through Shuikou Port amounted to US$22.211 million, accounting for 48.1% of the total exports of such commodities to Vietnam during the same period. It ranks first among all land border ports in the country and has become the largest port for my country’s fruit exports to Vietnam.
