What kind of fish is Basha fish

Basha fish is an important freshwater aquaculture species in Southeast Asian countries. It belongs to Silurus, and Paugusiushamiltoa, which belongs to Silurus, is a scaleless fish. It is a high-quality economic fish unique to the Mekong River Basin. In Vietnam, it is transliterated as "CABaSa", which means "three-fat fish", because this kind of fish accumulates three kinds of fat in its abdominal cavity during its growth, accounting for about 58% of its weight.

The fish has the advantages of fast growth, large size, high yield, wide eating habits, easy feeding, white and tender meat, delicious taste, rich nutrition, no small thorns between muscles, easy processing and so on. The fry can grow to 500-800g in one year, 1500-2000g in the second year, and the largest individual can reach 15kg.

Living habits:

Basha fish likes to flock, often moves in the middle and upper water layers, is omnivorous, can be fed with artificial compound feed, and can swim to the surface to eat when feeding. Hypoxia tolerance, low requirement for water quality, high density culture. About 3000 fish with the size of 4-5 cm are stocked per mu, and small miscellaneous fish and rice bran are mainly fed at seedling stage, and the individual weight gain reaches 600-700 grams in about half a year. Commodity prices are above 20 yuan.
